Site Launch: See The Southwest
Pixelita Designs was asked to redesign SeeTheSouthwest.com and migrate it from Geeklog to WordPress, keeping the same features already existing on the site and adding some new WordPress-specific toys, bells and whistles. One thing the client wanted was to feature six boxes on the front page each containing the latest post from each of those six chosen categories. A little custom code and a few graphic goodies and we’re good to go! Pixelita’s graphic artist, Ivan Minic, created the banner from a photo of the famous Monument Valley. The client agrees that Ivan’s design captures exactly the spirit of the web site. The font used is Wild Ride. Some WordPress plugins deployed include WP-Calendar, NextGen Gallery, TTFText Font Replacement, Company Directory, and Twitter Tools.
