Pixelita Designs offers an array of services to its clients, from web site design to graphics, photo manipulation and repair, document services, proofreading, copywriting — just name it and we can probably do it!
But We Don’t Do Windows!
Pixelita Designs absolutely DOES NOT do any work with Windows/IIS servers. We only work in a LAMP (Linux/Apache/MySQL/PHP) environment because the CMSs that we use require it and it’s extremely difficult (read: not cost-effective) to install those programs and scripts on anything other than LAMP.

Web Design
We can design and code for most common blogging applications and CMSs. Basic content-managed (e.g., WordPress, CMS Made Simple, Textpattern, sNews, etc.) web designs start at $850 and increase depending on the level of customization and features you require. But since no two sites or design requirements are alike, you are encouraged to request a quote by filling out the form below.

Blog Design
Pixelita Designs can set you up with the blogging application of your choice. We design primarily for WordPress and CMS Made Simple, but also design for Movable Type, TextPattern, sNews and PixelPost. We have released myriad free themes for WordPress and several more for Movable Type, Blogger, PixelPost and sNews.
If you’d like to start blogging, but don’t quite know where to begin, we can help you. We’ll consult with you to determine which blogging app is appropriate for you. If you need a domain, we’ll help you select it, walk you through the domain registry process, help you choose a registrar, set you up with web hosting, and recommend web hosting services and packages to you. Once those details are out of the way, we can set you up with a spiffy new blog design and turn you loose in the blogosphere!

Blog Makeovers and Migration
Are you a seasoned blogger who wants to switch blogging apps and start fresh with a new design? No worries. We can help you select a new CMS, decide on plugins, create a new design, and migrate your existing blog entries to the new blog app. You’ll be up and running with a new CMS under the hood and a great shiny new design faster than you can say “Pimp My Blog!” And if you want to keep your existing design, no worries there either. We can port just about any design from/to WordPress, MovableType, TextPattern or Blogger.

Graphic Design
We specialize in ad banners in all the industry standard sizes. Because each client’s ad banner requirements differ, you are encouraged to submit a Request for Quote for your ad banner projects.
A graphics package (header graphic, site button, banner ad and desktop wallpaper) starts at $400. Custom logos start at $500. But since no two graphic design projects are alike, you are encouraged to get a quote by filling out the form below.
We can also create design comps and mockups if you don’t need full-blown design. Comps delivered in PNG format are $400 each; add $125 for slicing to straight HTML; another $100 to fit to WordPress.

Service Credits
If you just need some tweaking done to your existing site or need us to troubleshoot a problem, upgrade a script or some other type of work, why don’t you think about purchasing Service Credits? Service credits are prepaid and we bill against your balance until it is exhausted. Unlike your cellphone minutes, you can carry over Service Credits from month to month and they expire after one year. The more Service Credits you buy at once, the bigger a discount you receive. Payment
For projects under $1000, payment in full is required to start. For projects over $1000, half is required to start and the balance is due prior to the uploading of your site files to your own server. Paypal is happily accepted, along with checks drawn on a business account only. Read our payment terms.

We Collect Texas Sales Tax
By law, Pixelita Designs is required to collect 8.25% Texas sales tax from any web design client residing in Texas. Sorry, folks, but dem’s da law.

Wish Lists
For people who have asked us about our Amazon wish lists, we’ve decided to make our wish list public. So if you feel the need to repay us for any free help we’ve given you, or if you want to encourage us to continue to release free blog themes, just hit our wish list. Note there are separate items for Ivan and Joni and that we have broken the list items down into different levels (Tier 1: $0-$50; Tier 2: $51-500; Tier 3: $501-$1500; and Tier 4: $1501+).
